I'm representing the E-Learning team from Richmond High School. We've recently established the team to introduce the Laptops4Learning Program into the school. Over the coming term we intend to establish short-term and long-term plans, strategies for integrating technology accross the curriculum and support for students and teachers. With Web 2.0 project, we are seeking to establish practices and processes for using Web 2.0 technologies across the curriculum and as collaborative tools.
What we're doing with Web 2.0
RHS Boys Challenge Program Blog : A blog operated by a PDHPE teacher who leads a group of boys on outdoor education experiences and then gets them to reflect on their experiences through the blog. The primary focus of the program is to improve their literacy and behaviour.
RHS E-Learning Wiki : Maintained by the E-Learning team to communicate and share resources.
RHS Teacher Laptop Wiki : Only very new - will be used more often once Teacher Laptop workshops begin on Monday afternoons.
Year 12 IPT Wiki : Used for my IPT class to communicate and store resources and lesson materials.
RHS English Department : Designed for the English Department to distribute documents, links, lessons and resources to students with laptops.
